Walmart+ Review and Suggestions

I've had Walmart+ since pick up started.

And being a mom of 4 who has to share one car, not having to go to the store and lug four young children who eat every germ possible and get bored fast is such a blessing!

When pickup came out, that was a game changer.

When delivery came out, even better. And when COVID started, it was a blessing not to have to go into the stores.

It has freed up my schedule SO MUCH and made shopping on a budget easier. Plus, we get free shipping, free Paramount+, and soon free home returns.

It was sad to miss out on coupons, but Walmart Cash is even better!

All you have to do is check a box and buy the amount of goods in order to redeem it. The money goes straight to your account in a short amount of time, and then you can use it like a card to pay for some of your next shopping trip. I've earned $138.65 just from minimal purchases for things I usually buy. I found this number on the WM Cash page, which I didn't see until today. I think it is fairly new so I'm not far behind, but I really like to see all the WM cash offers in one place. Sometimes I do buy slightly different products based on the WM Cash offers, like buying smaller individual smoothies instead of a giant container. But I only find them by searching for specific items and browsing through the list of search results.

Being able to click a button and go to a streamlined, personalized (and customizable) grocery shopping page would be awesome.

I know that you can click the Grocery section, but it doesn't have everything I'm looking for.

For me, I rush in and out and don't explore all the tabs (mostly to try to keep myself focused and not splurge in another department). I use the search function and search for specific items, or maybe add something on last minute from the don't forget recommendations.

I'd like to see WM Cash offers, recommendations for my usual or most bought items, and seasonal items. I particularly would like to see more sections for the $6 meals/$12 meal recipes. I made cherry chicken from the $12 section and it was wonderful! Cranberry chicken is one of my favorite recipes, so that was something that was right up my alley. I'm also on a tight budget for a family of 5, so getting some new recipe ideas that were also on budget was really nice. I LOVE all of the recipes and the ability to save them. I'm fairly new to it and didn't realize it was there until recently.

If this page was able to be organized by me using drag and drop widgets, that would be phenomenal.

Also, when I go shop at WM, I'm usually pretty rushed. I don't take my time looking at possible new features of the site, so I'm just now finding the recipe section. Maybe I just missed the notification to check this out, or maybe it's because I haven't dug through the entire site. When you sign up for Walmart+, it would be nice to have a reminder to go check it out, or include it as part of the walkthrough.

I'm very susceptible to a gamified experience.

Adding more badges in the account history, like used ship to home x amount of times, or saved x amount of money, or had x amount of deliveries with a reward attached would be really encouraging to me  to hit new goals like visit different website pages and earn new badges and just keep shopping there. Maybe it was because I was a Girl Scout that I like that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Seeing those badges did show me some features that I hadn't used yet, but I don't go shopping in store so they aren't particularly useful to me anyways. The more rewards, the better.
