If the shelter already has enough treats and food, it can be converted to other things that they need, like medical supplies for instance. All the treats and food are fulfilled by Chewy.com. The awesome thing about it is that you can digitally foster up to ten animals from all different shelters across the US and make an impact on animal's lives without spending a dime. I've had the app for only a short amount of time logging in only once or twice a day, and sometimes watching some ads, and I've already sent my shelter dogs a few packages of treats!
